THE BROWNING® STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE
+SAFETY
A safe rifle by its very essence, with its breech confined in the receiver and its manual cocking system. Unlike other straightpull action rifles, the BROWNING® rotating 7-lug bolt system is a guarantee of protection and absolute safety in the event of over-pressure. The breech is completely confined inside the gun’s receiver and does not interfere with aiming when re-cocking
The shooter keeps the target in his sights without any interference. This confinement also guarantees the cleanliness of the breech system. The MARAL’s manual cocking system is designed for maximum safety in both beats and hides.
+SPEED
The only movement required is the straight pull on the re-cocking lever, as the servo- bolt return system automatically pushes the bolt back forwards. By eliminating the reloading lever pushforward phase, the shooter gains time, which enables him to concentrate more on targeting and firing rather than on reloading.
Lastly, the linear pull on the reloading lever is constant, which offers unmatched comfort in use.
+ERGONOMICAL
Unlike a traditional straight-pull action rifle, the MARAL offers exceptional ergonomics and comfort, thanks to its exclusive patented repeat shot movement.
The MARAL rifle has been designed for stabilized shooting, instinctive “in-line” recocking and faultless repetition. The straight-line recocking movement is not disturbed by the breech passing in front of the shooter’s eye, nor by the linear pushing phase on the reloading lever.
The MARAL’s reloading movement is inside the gun’s receiver, which offers three major advantages: On the one hand, natural continuous aiming and on the other ergonomic reloading without having to stop firing.
As a result the breech does not shoot out of its casing towards the shooter’s face, which makes it easy to reload when in firing position. Aiming is maintained between each shot which makes repeat shots easier and enables the shooter to concentrate on his target all the time.
